Help! This is something new that just started. I noticed it yesterday, and it is now spreading even worse. What is wrong with my baby and how can I fix it? :(

She is 18 days old, today is day 18. Pics were just taken cuz her light cycle just started.

She goes with water for about 3 full days, then I water her. No nutes. I tested the water with a basic pH test and it came up 6.8-7.0ish

I keep the temp around 73-75F during lights off and about 81F during lights on.
Humidity 50-55%

Miracle Grow Potting Soil

Help!!!!!

Notice the browning? The tip of one of those new leaves is pretty much dead.

+rep for any useful answers

Supgee3, could you post a pic that is zoomed out a bit so we can see the entire plant?

It kinda looks like a burn from a bulb. Any chance that could've happened? How about spilling anything on it?

People will flame you for using the miracle grow potting soil, but that stuff works great for the vegetative stage. It's possible to get some nute burn if you overwater using miracle grow potting soil, but it doesn't sound like you've done that.

In any event, it doesn't look bad. Best of luck.

I'd say it looks kinda like a burn but if your using the miracle grow it got the nutes in it so flushing is out of the question the more you water the more nutes released but it looks ok I'd just keep going. If it gets worse I'd transplant in new soil that is not miracle grow

Hey bud, here's the picture of the full plant... the only spots affected by this "brownish spot" is where I posted the pictures.. only about 2-3 leave are affected.

A burn from a bulb? Maybe but I'm using CFLs and they don't get that hot. In any event I moved them up a bit, and hopefully that will fix the problem.

I don't think it's nute burn, cuz I usually let the soil get BONE dry.

She looks ok mate :)
Looks like possible slight nute burn probably from the soil
she looks young and sometimes cant be helped in younger plants.
Just flush her through like once a week or something which should help
flush out anything locked in the soil :)
Overall she looks fine, good looking growth.
During lights out try misting her with some PH balanced water thats been left to stand for 24 hour.
Keep an eye on the problem. you may find that some leafs dont make it anyhows and just cut em off when there dead.
Good Luck :)
She looks good :)
