help with autoflower interrupted light cycle

Hi there everyone, I have been doing two autoflowers, (ak47 and Anubis). They have been sprouted for 12 days, however, when I checked my analog timer (the ones with the pins all around them) i noticed that one pin (I think) has been pushed down during the dark period, meaning the lights have been coming on for 15 minutes after around an hour of darkness. Do you guys think they will be ok? I will add pics if needed, one has come on alot better than the other, the good one is in bio bizz, the other in coco. Appreciate your time, please reply and help me! :):)
 
Light stress can affect autos ... As they are sensitive to shit ...
Sometimes even a small light leak will throw a hermie at you.


Adjust schedule properly and STICK TO IT THRU HARVEST.
18/6 or 20/4 is the most common.

Those stupid push down analog timers have also caused me some grief in the past, after operating for one and one half grows in the middle of veg @ 24/7 it decided to push up random pins and screw up royally. If you have a tight space maneuvering around in it can accidently push a random one down if it is not right over the 'switch'. I went digital but they have problems too although somewhat different ones.

I've been using an outdoor version of that exact same timer style for 17 years and it has never fucked up on me unless I've fucked up. It's a poor tradesman that blames his tools. Mine is running a 1000W HPS right now and I trust it with my plants lives. :)

Like Creature1969 said it's no big deal with autos or even regular photos in veg mode but would be bad with photos in flowering for sure.

STYLE is the operative word. So yours was made in China too?! They must be exactly the same since mine was bought a couple of years ago and you've had yours seventeen years as an OUTDOOR version.
Apples and oranges comparisons do not justify the 'poor tradesman' reference.o_O

It is a poor family member that disparages his own brothers/sisters on such poor evidence.:wall:
 
Same timer with a flap over it so it can be outdoors. The switches don't just change settings so you must of not made sure they was in the right position wen you set it.

If you're buying Chinese crap then you have none but yourself to blame.

As a tradesman I know from whence I speak. ;) Take it as disparagement or a hint to do better next time. I took a lot worse from those that knew better and became better for it.

Not sure where mine was made and as it's light's out on my 27 plant garden I won't bother checking until tomorrow. From Canadian Tire as I recall. My 30 year old Made in the USA magnetic ballasts are still working fine. Not a hum from any of them.

wow, i wrote this yesterday and I'm amazed by how quickly everyone has replied. I appreciate every reply, so I won't worry about it, I have fixed the timer and made sure they are all pushed in the right way. Gotta love the help you guys give, thanks again everyone
