Help with dosing Advanced Nutrients

Hi guys! I'm on my first grow using the 3-part "pH perfect" normal series from Advanced Nutrients.

I have 6 plants (autos) each in 3gal pots. I water them roughly 2 liters of water a couple times or week. The bottles says "4ml pr liter weekly" but it seems like a lot of i have to give each plant 8x3ml of nutrients every week? I know the manufactureres tend to overdo it a bit on the labeling, but even at half, it still seems like a lot?

Am I missing something?

Throw em away and use GH, Advanced nutrients supports pedophiles and the guy is a straight up asshole. But to answer your question yeah most companies will over do the dosing instructions, I'd start with a 1/4 or 1/3 and work your way up to what the plants can handle

Start at 1/4 the label instructions. If they do well double that to 1/2 strength the next and so on.

What medium is in the 3 gal pots?
Dosage and watering schedule is very different for soil and coco for instance.

Organic Promix with mychorizal fungi. Straight up, nothing added.

AN is 2ml/L I think not 4ml.
When I use their 3part I never go above 1ml/L.

It does say 4ml/liter during the grow week, but I know they set it high.

Over 25 years ago I met a cool hippie guy on a forum with big claims. Said he was the inventor of the then revolutionary Lucas formula. I will not include his name. He loved C99 and bought all the Durban I grew. Drove a Vw van.

Anywho he told me that he was invited to Canada to meet with AN. They wanted to bottle the Lucas formula. Said he met with gun loving self identifying aryan bikers.

Also had an experience back then with a AN rep who saw me buying gear at a local shop and asked if he could help transport it to my spot( he was in an 18 wheeler on Broadway). HELL NO!! Learned later that AN sponsored grows to test their bottles and regretted it till I had the Durban interaction mentioned above.
