Hi guys, I'm trying to dry out Buds that have been all trimmed up.. Yet where they are drying on a fly screen (after 1 week) they seem to be starting to get moldy..!!! It is the middle of winter where I am, so I guess that is the problem.. Can I turn my lights on for heat or use a heater??? Pls help.. It's killing me...
Cheers.....:wall:

I've read in the Bible that you want to keep them out of light and keep a constant flow of air on them. Possibly hang them up with a dark sheet to cover them and have a fan blowing at the sheet circulating the air.

Also make sure that your flip the buds over every day or so to make sure you don't increase your chances of mold. Heat is a bad idea. you may be able to save them by double bagging them in freezer bags and putting them in the freezer for 24 hours. That would discontinue your mold issue and dry them out good. Either way you've probably gone past the point of optimum smokability so you should do what you can to salvage your harvest.

Best of luck!
