Help with filter.

so i found that this website has awesome prices on fans hurricans for $70 435 cfm so thats what ill use but how about the filter what are the differences between the
PHRESH CARBON FILTERS and the
PHRESH INTAKE FILTERS

don't they both have intakes? then they have phat filters which I'm not familiar with any input would help

sounds like the difference is intake filter is to filter bugs and dust from your intake.. id go with carbon filter.. use a passive intake (your exhaust forces air in through vents)

should i go with the 550 cfm or 400 cfm 6 in 16 or 6 in 24? for a hurricane 6 inch 435 cfm fan i heard if the fans bigger than the filter cfm rating it sucks faster then it can filter. 35 cfm i don't think is a big difference but what if it dosnt suck enough

i was thinking filter > fan > flow hood > duct out other room the intake to the room would be negative pressure and the only airway would be the cracks in door and sealing

if air can get in through cracks and ceiling then unwanted light can too. also during periods that fans aren't on smells might leak to places you don't want. just my two cents

Depending on the layout of the area, of course. Corners, nonreflective coverings on the wall, and permeable barriers like blankets can address this. It isn't completely dark outside, 50% of the time, and plants do fine there too. I just can't buy the whole absolute-zero light thing, because plants are from the outside, not a grow tent. You definitely can't let the wrong frequencies of light in, and it seems absolute dark is perhaps important for 100% maximizing potency or production, but it isn't going to ruin your grow.

by cracks i meant like under the door but the next rooms light is off anyway and the filler shit in the baseboards

you WILL hermie your plant with light leaks.. ive had it done before.. but believe what you want, we got our own opinions.. its a bitch to get pollen out once its in.. gotta scrub the whole room from head to toe.. seriously.. fans blow it around so if you dont, when you grow again you got a high chance for pollen to get on them from air blowing.. which means not only is one crop screwed.. the second one is too.. better to avoid it then take a chance..

you can have cracks under the door etc.. but just be sure no light can leak in when lights are off. what i do is turn the lights off in the grow room and look around while its dark to see if any light is getting in, attempt to fix it and repeat until its filled. especially around windows etc..

Im paranoid as hell about that so i taped the zippers on the side doors, put sheets over the tent during lights off and keep the light off in the room its in. might be overkill but i dont want to risk it.

Help with filter.
