I am at week 5 and still see no brown or orange hairs when will i start to see them?

Alot depends on the strain as well as how old the plant is,the older a plant is the more sexually mature it is,which means the shorter transition time from veg to full bud as well as a shorter day count to finish.
If you have an 8 week strain it can be all the way up to week 7 before the pistils start to turn red,gold or brown,some strains like my white widdow dont turn until they are allmost finished,even then not many pistils change.
A question,did you start your day count the very day you went into 12/12 ? If so you didnt account for the transition period,if your growing from seed transition takes a bit longer over older clones,add about 14 days if your going from seed,if from clone add between 7 to 10 days for transition.
