help with HydroFarm CO2 regulator...

ok, so i bought a hydrofarm C02 regulator, a 15lb CO2 tank, a C.A.P. CO2-4e temp, humidity, and co2 controller, and the PPM-1c that shows a digital readout of the parts per million of CO2 in the room.

so i go to set up the C02 finally and i see this in the hydrofarm instructions

This unit is not designed to be used with electronic controllers. the constant switching on & off of the CO2 will cause components to freeze. This could empty the tank or inhibit CO2 delivery.

well that just sucks... i wish i had know this before... has anyone been sucessful with using this system and not having it freeze up?

any advice would be great
