Vertical Barebulb. one tent 8x8 with 4 600 watt lights hung vertically, no hoods, no ducting, one fan to suck all air out of room, 8" 740 cfm fan. filter on fan exhaust.
Save money on the hoods, ducting, and way higher yeilds then hooded flat grows.
good to know...so wiith the same stepup but lights hanged vertically will be structurally safe? never done scrog so m looking for all the info i can getDepends on your fan and the size of your intake ports. But if your not air cooling those hoods, you will proly always have heat issues with that much light in that size of space. Hoods retain heat. Which is fine in open warehouses. But in a little tent, that hood will become a huge 98dF heat sink.
i have no ac in the room bt the fans should hold the fort, hoods i will definately use to maximise light usage and spread...That's 11.5 feet square. 4 1000 watt hoods. To help remove a bunch of heat and keep the lumens more even on the plants, use a super spreader under the light. It takes the hottest part and puts it back up in the hood and reflects it down more evenly over the rest. No hot spot in middle of hood and swapping plants around when they don't grow even. These act like heat sinks in stereos and remove a lot of heat. I run 4 1000 in a room 11.5x 10.5. No blower on hoods. I swap air from in the house and the house AC/heater controls the heat. I've ran 5 lights in a 14x11 room with a 12000 btu AC. Kept room at 80. Would drop to 65 if I wanted it too.
looking to maximise light output...too much weed bro !Should be, a barebulb on a socket is much lighter then a hood. Yeah I dont do scrog, im a lazy grower.
