So, the setup I'm considering is 12 of these COBs http://cobkits.com/product/citizen-clu048-1212-90cri-gen6/

I would place 4 of them on 44" of this heatsink https://www.heatsinkusa.com/2-079-wide-extruded-aluminum-heatsink/

For a 4x4 space. I think that would make a good set up. I obviously still need to match drivers, etc, but I'm looking for a little input as to whether or not you guys think this is enough to flower under. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.
I guess it would depend on how hard you drive them. 4x4 is 16 sq/ft. And I think most say you need 30w p/sqft that's 480w. Those can be driven to 100w. Maxed out. And are way more efficient at 50w and I dont think 200w of cobs for 4x4 is enough. It's better to run more cons @ less volts and current then fewer driven harder. Plus you get more points of light. That's jus my opinion. I'm not super led tech savvy. @Moflow or @Randomblame can give more expertise. As they are super knowledgeable about leds. Good luck with your build.

It's 12 cobs, 4 a piece to a heatsink. That's 50w x 12 = 600w, but may or may not run them dimmer. Thanks for wishing me luck

Not sure how I missed that lol. I thought 4 total. My bad. It's been long day.

Edit: 12 would def do it.
Yeah, ppl are saying it's over kill with 12, but they're not COB users. I'll def have a dimmer and a way to turn off individual COBs, or perhaps half of them or something

Strips are too much for me ATM. The builds they're talking are 500 USD a piece. Maybe I'll upgrade at some point, but not now. The cob build is 182 bucks before drivers and aluminum angle, etc.

I even tried to cheap out on Alibaba for those same strips.
No heatsink?
