Help with Oscillating Fan issue

So I have 2x 16” Tornado wall mounted oscillating fans installed in my 8x8 grow room at the moment.. They are the type that you have to press the button to turn on and off manually and I need them to turn on and off automatically with the timer. I didn’t realize when I bought them because I bought them before I even built the room.. Wondering if there is any way I could open up the fan housing and possibly bypass those functions? Has anybody done this before ?

Yes, that button is attached to two wires. If you cut the two wires and connect the loose ends, you have effectively bypassed the button. But what is the point? All you need to do is just leave the button turned "On" and plug the fan into the timer.
