What is the best potting soil that I can find at local garden stores, walmart, home depot, lowes and other places like these, that doesnt turn to mud and doesnt have any nutes already in it and has a PH between 6.8-7.2 and doesnt have bugs.

most soil at home depot and places like it have bugs. open doors+vent holes in bags=bugs plus most have an outdoor garden section that has plants and bugs

dont worry to much about the bugs check the bag for holes everywhere and if you do get bugs dont worry neem oil sells at the same place so ur good.

what you mean neem oil sells at the same place. I have looked and no local stores anywhere exept some hydro shops sell neem oil unless you live in Cali or somewhere medically legal.

i grow in 3 gallon buckets full of perlite. get a plastic mop bucket (walmart has 2 gallon square ones for $2) put a 7/16 hole in it 2 inches from the bottom , fill the bucket with perlite (walmart bag fills a 3 gallon bucket perfect $7) put your seedling or clone right into it and water it.you can just bury the rockwool started or peat puck in the perlite.this is mimicing your roots hitting ground water, its like a soil hydro mix kind of..it so easy to grow this way i will never do soil ever again..i ph my water to 5.8 but 5.6-6 is good i use low nutes for veg like 200ppm every other water or 2.for flowering 600-1000ppm......at first add a cup or 2 of water every day (keeps the top wetter until the roots grow to the bottom) then you can top it off until you get water at the hole 2 inches from the bottom, you can water every day or once a week its that easy.if you add too much nutes and start seeing nute burn just add a gallon of nuteless water and its fixed..anything else just pm me

Well let me rephrase that PM i just sent, not the first pm the second. Do you have to water a few times a day until the roots hit the bottom of the bucket, I hope not because this could take weeks. I dont want to have to stay at my house everyday for weeks strait and I cant even go stay somewhere for a few days. Also you do know that the most nutrient uptake is in the top 2/3 of a plants root system, if you only water is at the bottom 2" of your bucket then they are not uptaking nutrients like they could be, not saying yours dont look great by all means yours look better than mine but I am on a budget right now.

for the first week or so i give them 2-4 cups every day just to keep the perlite damp until your roots grow out but its fast i've never had any trouble growing this way but all my soil grows have been hard.only about the top 2 inches of the perlite dry out the rest seems to stay damp it most be osmosis or something but it works.i have 5 different strands(big bud,ny diesel, strawberry cough, train wreck and blueberry) i treat the all the same same water same nutes same everything and every single one of my plants look nice, this is my budding diesel..i think its at 4 weeks i use bud blood for my first water on 12/12 it seems to help.
