help with rockwool

i just got some rockwool cubes and a humidity dome, and i was wondering if i need the ph test kit and if not how much lemon juice should i add?

you need a ph test kit for your resv. try to keep it around 6.5 lemon juice is a ph downer not an upper you can use bakeing soda for an uper but you can get ph up and ph down for about $10 at a hydroponic store or go online or ebay its a lot better for your resv. then just dumping lemon juice and bake soda in your resv. depending on what type of system your useing you might need a p.p m meter also! you need to go to the hydoponic forum they can give you vital infomation that you need! good luck bro

i was planning on just putting them into soil cuz i dont have the resources to do hydro yet

then you dont need the cubes and the dome the juice ect. just germinate your seeds on a wet paper towel stick em in a zip lock bag put them in a dark place and let them sprout after wards plant them in your soil!

you can make clones without the dome! you can still use soil! i got 12 clones in soil right now in those little jiffy pots! im gonn transplant in soil later! you can do the same then when you get you hydro set you can transfer them to their! but dude when it comes to hydro questions this is the best place to get answers Hydroponics / Aeroponics you will get way better replies! good luck bro

if i had the money right now i would do hydro but im broke till harvest season. whats your method for cloning in soil, every attempt ive made at soil cloning theyve all died

i got that rooting powder from wal-mart i just cut at an angle and moisten the place where i cut it at! and dip it in the rooting powder! i already have the soil in the jiffy pots wet! and i stick my clone in a pre made hole! then i gently pack the soil around the stem to hold the clone up! then thats it! after about 2 days of shock they start to come around! theres other rooting products out there but the powder is all i can get my hands on
