Help with SCROG!

I currently have plants which are getting about as tall as I can wait before I start weaving them into the SCROG, the problem is that they haven't shown gender yet...any ideas? I don't want to just start weaving them in because I don't want to have to cut males out of the screen and have that space wasted. How long after the 'flip' do they start to show sex? Would they stretch too far before showing gender? Thanks for any help!

About how long should I leave them in 12/12 before I return them to veg? Is there a certain point of no return where I have to leave them in flower if they take too long?

Just flip them back as soon as they start showing but i don't think there is a point of no return i got given a plant was about 4-5 weeks deep it just took a few to revert and she blew up with growth but you'll get a few mutant leaves, still definitely worth it

You should see sex before you flip. I have never had to flip to find females...takes too long. Around 30-40 days from day 1 of germinating a seed females will show pistils. Soon as i see those i murder all the bros....

My issue is I'm just running out of room. They're all topped twice and super cropped, but my screen is 5'x2 1/2' and I have six plants. Clones are a 10 hour drive away at a minimum and I don't know any other growers who could get me seeds. So while I need to cull pretty quickly, I'm hesitant to be too hasty about it, since it took me almost three months to accumulate 8 seeds haha. Def gonna start w fem seeds on my 2nd grow!
Anywho...switched my timers to 12/12 this morning before I went to work, so here's to experimenting! Thanks for all the help!

I was planning on just waiting on them but the seeds were started 49 days ago...still no signs as of last night when I started this thread

Yes. I walled off half of one of my sheds. I happen to be an electrician so getting power out there was no big deal. I still need half of it for tools for my legit veggie garden, so I walled off/air proof/light proofed a 6'x5'6" section. I live in a pretty cold place so it's insulated, temp controlled. Humidity is very low here so no dehumidifier will be needed. I have a 4' T5 panel hanging above and 4 100W equivalent screw type CFLs on all corners of my 5'x2'6" SCROG.

Up your lighting I think, 100w equivalent doesn't mean it's throwing out a whole lot of light its just equivalent to an incandescent light I'd go 150w for one plant and every additional plant add another 50w but HID or LED is definitely the way to go a couple of my plants didn't show til I got them under a 600w HPS after being under cfl for a good 6 weeks

Hey sorry I've been away for awhile, very busy at work. Anyways, the plants started to show about six days ago, and by that point they had already filled the screen so I just left the 12/12 cycle going...
1. Do I consider week 1 of flower when I switched to 12/12 a few weeks back, or do I consider this to be week 1 since the pistils have only just started to show? Does it even matter?
2. I can't really use clones as I love about an eight hour drive from the nearest place I could find legal ones, and as far as I know there aren't many growers around here.
3. I will most definitely be switching to an LED setup next grow, this being my first grow I wanted to just see what I could do w what was laying around. Do LEDs have a UV band or are they just visible colors?

Unless there is a reliable way to transport clones in a car all day without damaging them, which would be nice because I'd love to grow some Golden Goat

The longest trip I've transported clones was 3-5 hours so not to sure maybe give the leaves a water spray every couple hours, and I'd call it week one from when it started throwing out pistils can't call it like week 2 of flowering if it isn't even flowering right?
