help with taste

How do i make it smell/taste better?
Can i cure in a plastic jar or does it have to be a glass jar?

I have a gallon size plastic jar and it has been in there for 2 weeks now and its still not great smelling
i also have the second part of the harvest hanging still because there is too much to deal with it has been hanging for 10 days and its time to cure please help me make this stuff taste and smell better im willing to try a few different methods so i dont have these issues next year thanks

throw the plastic shit....get some glass mason jars.

make sure the the buds are dry (snap the stems) buds will feel dry but they arnt. best is to do the snap test, if the branch snaps its ready for cure, and buddy above me is right Oxygen and carbon dioxide can still pass through plastic bags jars are ideal, but make sure your buds are completely dry

IME if it doesnt smell good in the jar for 2 weeks your stuck with the smell. you most likely dried it to fast. usually if you dry it right it smells good even before you jar it and jarring only helps enhancing it.

next time dont harvest so early.

but a slow dry is a good dry and if it been in the jar for a week and smells like that your probably stuck with it.

another note is a lot of people say till when the stem snaps before jarring, i wait till i feel some crispy edges on the bud/leaves, and the stem is snapping.
