help with this hps?

i was wondering if i could use the bulb that comes witht his kit for vegging?
or is this a flowering bulb?
i know they say mh is better for vegging but i didnt know if this was a special kind of light because of the setup or website

ps i also have four t8's for the walls

vegging with a hps unless its a super hps like the eye hotrilux bulb, will result in lanky leggy plants, your better off buying some 6500k cfls for veg w imo, or in addition to the hps.

its ok ill buy a mh didnt know if that would work

i vegged under a 600w hps... plants look fine, no lankiness etc.... however i am having problems, my auto lowryders arent flowering....

ya listen to mystified bongs, you want blue light for veg... use the hps once you switch the lights to 12/12.. i suggest a T5, you can get a nice 4 bulb 'sun blaze' for like 160 bucks or something..

cause truthfully, the best way for them to grow, is T5 till they're 12-15 inches tall, then under MH till you put them in flower(HPS)

but I just flip them when they're 15 inches tall, so i skip the MH

can anyone tell me i have 2 60w cfl dual spectrums that i had for vegging i was gonna put them in the flowering room on the wall with 1 600w hps
i do have another 600w hps do you think that is needed as well?
i have 3 plants which 2 are only 1 foot high the other is 3 feet high
the room is about 3.5 ft wide by 2.5 deep and 8ft high

you can use hps just find to veg. search on the forum. hps can can grow a plant thru its entire life. mh cant flower but can veg, but hps can veg good and flower..

hps penetrate your canopy deeper and make tighter node spacing for veg. mh will make your plants stretch more aswell as. people can argue but from my own experience i get fuller bushier plants when i veg under hps and i choose it over mh every time. i like my girls big and bushy
