Help with venting and cooling, 8 x 10 x 10, 6 strains, LST, crop

have an 8 x 10 x 10 room, 0-18F at night and 25-45F during the day around these parts and plan on using the nice outside air for my intake. What I have a question about is my venting and cooling setup, just checking with people that have the answers:mrgreen:.

If you can imagine a bare room of this size...two vents on the floor to the left side of the room blowing outside air to the room. The fans I will be using to push the air through the vents is one of the questions I have. I want a CHEAP efficient fan, not one that is running at 150 or even 300 CFM(inline fans). Can I just use regular old fans to push fresh air in, since it is so cold here?

Now I will be using three fans in the room to circulate the air at the bottom and top of the plant and one pointed at the ballast, all oscilating of course. Correct me on any of this if I'm wrong please.

Venting of the hot and used air will come from four vents leading to ducting to the right of the room to the outside. I'm not worried about smell or being private about this so forget that. I'm running a 1000W MH/HPS light and 6 strains. Will be using fox farms light warrior to plant and through germination and then transplant to fox farms ocean forest for the rest of the grow. Will be using Grow big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom for nutes.

Strains are still in the original breeders packs just ready to go here shortly once I get this venting question and hurdle out of the way. Strains are Next Generation's ny purple diesel and grapefruit diesel, Barney's farm's vanilla kush and violator kush, and finally dinafem's original amnesia and white widow.

Also had a question about cropping and LST. I do want to perform LST and crop each and every one of my plants. The question is when and how? Never ever done LST or cropped any of my plants, but I want some bushes out of these girls since I have the room lol. If anyone has some experience in these methods of growing or people that have experience growing the mentioned strains i would greatly appreciate the help. Peace and pics of the room shortly

I am going to leave the lst part alone, and deal with the ventilation.
First off to regulate your temp evenly it is much much much easier to use air that is already climate controlled, most of us use the air from our homes as it is both climate controlled (at least in winter) and Co2 enriched naturally.
So is it possible for you to intake from your living areas (you didn't say if this was a shed)?
Then if you use a good strong exhaust fan you will not even need an intake fan, the negative pressure created by the exhaust will pull fresh cool air in.
If you must use outside air let us know, but this is your best bet.
I run 2000 watts and take the air from my basement and exhaust into the basement. We average 45f as the daily high this time of year and i am still able to keep my 400+ watt veg and 2000 watt flower at 80 or less. And i never have to use a heater, you most likely will if you use outside air.

Ya I am using outside air drawn in through the floor. Heaters will have to be used lol, a 1000W light will help too. As long as I get my temps right I'm more concerned about the circulation of the air within the room ya know?

Now as for fans (for the entire setup) what would you guys recommend/used in the past for my situation? Keep the price down , I'm willing to ghetto rig something lol.

This is my first grow which was in my closet. She was Superskunk Feminized from Nirvana. First Pic of the trimed buds wet and the second is three months cured

Dude, I've used a box fan on it's back in the middle of the garden, elevated by cinder blocks for circulation. Not saying I'm proud, but it worked for a small grow.
