Help! Young plants curling up

Screen shot 2010-08-30 at 10.48.58 PM.png

I misted them with water and a few hours later they were all curled up!

I have raised the lights, and given them fresh water to flush some nutrients, I've only fed them 1/2 dose of organic fert twice.

Growing in coco under t5's and a 250w MH

what's going on? how can I help these girls?

Thanks!

errr, no I didn't. I mixed it with some "croutons" for air and planted the clones. I wasn't aware i was supposed to leech it first! :/

misting your plants while the lights are on is no bueno.
Eek! Another noob mistake on my part. Just seemed really dry in there and the lights are on 24hours right now. I'm used to growing outdoors, so I'm new to these lights! Any way I can help these girls recover?

Coco coir is soaked in salt water by the manufacturer to soften it up and make it easier to work with. Some of the lower end companies dont wash out the salt before they sell it so you have to soak it in tap water for a while or until it runs clear. The reason I ask is because your plant looks like it has toxic salt build up. Toxic salt blocks out nutrients from being absorbed and kills plants dead. Your gonna have to transplant into something else or at least leeched coco coir. sorry man. Also if your gonna use mulch on top of your soil you dont have to water as much. Your soil looks soaked from what I could see

how close did you have the 250w?
maybe you should have waited to add it til your little one was a little bigger?

I'm using cocogrow from Botanicare. It says to just add the cutting then feed/water. wish I knew I needed to leech it! Is there any way to flush the salts without transplanting the cuttings? They were doing fine for a few days, and started curling immediately following the misting I gave them with the light on. Sounds like that could have burnt them from further research. Maybe a combinations of a bunch of mistakes i made :(

I'm keeping the light pretty high above the plants. was at about two feet before and probably 3 feet away now

Your should do more research before doing anything to a plant especially one so young and fragile...

Uh yeah, thanks for that. Any ideas on how to remedy the situation? I've been researching a lot, only so much you can read before you run into real situations. This is still all a learning experience for me

Yeah You should be able to overcome if you just ph water for a few.Or maybe put your plant over a bucket and flush with 5 times the pot size then let it dry till moist a few inches down. just watering may take to many days to flush and dry out. ONE GIANT FLUSH shouldn't hurt
