1 the bulb u have is wrong one for growth

u need a MH bulb ......it is blue light use that bulb for about 34 days then change it to the HPS
(even tho it is a auto if the plant thinks the end of the season ...... it will grow small then stretch out and bud in a shorter time lowering the amount u get from the plant)
right now u want to use grow feed and rooting feed
(what AN are u using ) they do have a root mass builder that would be started now and go until the 5th week growth
2nd thing is the power turn it 100% running the bulb on a 75% is only lowering the amount of energy that goes tho it effecting the light waves it admits along with the total amount of time u can use the bulb....both bad things

ya I know my mh bulb blew on me an I have rooting poweder I picked up an seems to work great it did on my first plnt im starting....an aka micro-bloom-grow/add,big bud-b52-over.d-voodo- im using 1/4 str lvl on the auto seeing as it has fresh ffof packed an I don't wantto get the soil to hot so it seems to be doing good at the moment and ty you deff know your stuff on autos yea im gonna look those feeders up but like I said my mh blew brand new optilume so im waiting for the replacement an I had to substitute for the moment I know its not the best idea but its better thn leaving it in the dark for days so im running it on 20/4 cycle an I wont be add nutes till about 4 week auto aren't big fans of a lot nutrients from what I been reading.
I see some autos that are bigger then reg an grown with in the three months an its all ready giing off 35000 lumens at 75% then its 100% then I can also putit up to super lumens its a lumitek ballast

autos love feed .........feed is a quick form of energy the plant can intake and use with out the need for it to break down ( the soil has power but the roots need to branch out and then tenderals go out to break down and aborb it )
i have been growing autos for 3 years ...i always feed them even if they are in super soil i just adjust the power of the feed ..............u want to use about 1/2 power grow/micro 1/2 power rooting full power voodoo juice (u do not have a rooting mix i see in the list look at rapid start ....i use it with great results )

the big bud does not come into play until the stretch is over and the B-52 is just a de stresser additive to the plant to help with any issues
the only trouble u might have is the plant turns into a heavy feeder but that in return makes u a shit load more ( a strain that was listed for 45 grams i did 178 grams 114 days ) .......this means u really should trim off any lower branchings bud sites (i take off the first 2 nodes at the bottom)

yea only thing for rooting is the rooting powder I picked up suppose to be very strong an affective so just super crop it lke you would with a norma photo strain I got ya an yea those adds will come into play after big bud an b52 im using 4ml of mic bloom an grow an voodoo at 3/4 str added some perlite for more drain I have it in starter cup an I cut the bottom out an placed it into the 5g pot an only water where the cup is so the roots will shoot straight down

well the voodoo u can go full power any time it is just a sets of micros .........it is one of the 4 root mass builders

i use a mason quart jar
mix up the feed in that and water the plant every 2/3 days going around the outside in to stalk (make the roots bush out) ......about 10 days of that and u can add a 2nd quart jar making it a half gallon for watering .......keep that for 10 days or so then add one more to 3/4 gallon by the time u get to flowering u should be at a gallon of water every 2/3 days with the feed mixed in at what Str u think is best for the soil
i personal like to get some nurt burn on the plant i keep increasing the feed untill i see some signs of burn on the tips then back it down and hold it until i cut the plant to push it

good idea following your method now tried it last night for the feeding an it seemed to poof out abit more

i have ran the lumatek high par hps for years now really good bulbs ..... the boost settings are worthless and so are the dimming options ...... the boost is really hard on your bulb and the added power changes the spectrum ...... same for the dimming that bulb running at 50% is not anywhere near the needed spectrum dont get me wrong both settings put out light ..... but its not the right light

yeai know sucks boss my mh bulb broke but the plant seems to be going good take look its on its second week nowbut I ran into a pro with my main plant that's in flowering it just hit its third week today take look see if you can tell me whats wrong the leafs are starting to point down ward had the light off yesterday for 4 extra hours on accident timer I had set up did not work properly day befor it 4 extra an yesterday 4 extra off so...first pic my auto an others are my sourd crossed with critical hog

you can run hps the whole way through no problem. and the timer mishap wouldnt really affect your leaves..i think it may be water related, like did you just water?
it could be not getting dry enough, like wet feet.

looks like a slight N tox from the slight clawing you have going on ........ really hard to tell with the HPS on though ...... usually when you take pics for a diagnosis its in more natural lighting so the colors can actually be seen
