Hemp looks just like Cannabis?

So the only time I have ever seen hemp is in old oil paintings and my image of hemp was that it was much taller than marijuana and did not form the kind of buds you would expect it from it. However I recently saw a news piece about a hemp farm where you could "pick your own" hemp at $25 a pound wet and what they showed looked like very nice marijuana plants with large donkey dick colas. They had names like Silver Hazey etc. Does hemp look exactly like marijuana?

in my mind Hemp is the broad name for cannabis...then it narrows to specific breads and styles like Sativa, Indica, and Ruderalis.....for me it's when you actually give it name is when it really turns......let me know how it smokes???

Yeah, they sell cbd buds everywhere now for crazy high prices, and with different strain names. I think it's just like regular cannabis, except with .3% or less THC, and higher % of other cannabinoids

Yes but hemp is grown for different reasons, seeds, medicinal for fiber im sure some others. Interestingly from what I understand they can get higher % of CBD from cannabis strains that are not hemp.

My state grows allot of hemp for seeds. So they want short plants. Heres a pic. Look up Hemp create if u have time to kill, amazing building alternative that basically fire proof.

Edit (sorry photos are not working yet with the new layout.)

in some cases cannabis is the same, a good case would be the "ol bog ol seeds" thing....you don't know what bread of it ( or maybe you do <wink> just don't tell anyone), you just put it in the ground and go from there....at this point, fibers, seeds, oils can be made. Stalks for animals such as cattle, horses, and pigs. Leaves, you as a person can eat in a salad form,or made into chips.....

It is my understanding that 'hemp', 'marijuana' and 'cannabis' are the same species of plant, they just express different cannabinoid profiles.
