Hempy bucket droopy seedlings?

I am starting some more seedlings this time I put them in 16 oz party cup hempy buckets with perilite. they are about 3 weeks old and the leaves are hanging straight down but are rigid not soft. what is wrong with them? I had not been using any nutes until this week but they are still in the same condition. I water them everyday is this too much? any help would be greatly appreciated.

are they too cold? not enough light? try to water every 2-3 days(unless they fell like the bottom is getting dry)- they may be ready for a bigger bucket.

try cutting back your watering to once every 2 days... the drooping leaves leads me to believe it's overwatering but the fact that they are brittle leads me to believe they are too hot or the light might be too close...what's your temperature by the clones? also, if the water temperature is above 70 or so it can cause that... that's why water temperature in hydroponics is so crucial, try to keep it in the 60's. You got any pics so we can get a better idea of the setup?

I will try to get some pics on here not sure how. the temp is 70-72* with 40-50% humitidy. The leaves are not brittle I meant to say they are firm like normal leaves( not soft droopy like a thirsty plant.) they just dont stick out to the side like normal plants. I have been adjusting the PH to 6 with vinegar( not sure if thats good to use vinegar). the funny thing is that I have tried hempy buckets 3 times. the first time I did nothing to ph of the water and they grew fine no problems. But the last time and this time the plants have been drooopy and the ones before this eventually died. I have them under 8 64 watt cfls for a short veg. I really likehempy buckets and want to figure out the problem. let me know if you need any more info to help diagnose the problem and I iwll provide what I can. thanks for the help.

well in that case.. i would cut back the watering to once every other day or 3 times a week. I just took 6 clones, dipped them in olivias and threw them in hempy cups with 100% perlite.. didnt spray them with water or anything. watered them once every two days and had roots in just over a week with a decent amount of new growth after 2 weeks. it has been my quickest turn around with clones yet! (not the first time i used hempy though). Anyways, you might also try checking the runoff that is coming out of the cup or try to tilt the cup to get some of the water out of the res. check the ph on it because it sounds like it could be creeping up on you. I think i read in the hempy collective thread a while back that with hempy there is no need to look at your ph as long as you use hydro nutrients. this is because most hydro nutrients have ph buffers in them and you are flushing out the little res every day or two anyways.

If it's a true hempy bucket you cannot over water. A hole 2 inches from the bottom of a dixe cup is just wrong. You have to adjust the hole to the container. I have one now in a styrofaom 16 ounce cup ready to transplant and I adjusted the hole down to compensate. She just showed sex today around 4-5 weeks, and is 18 inches tall. I've had to water daily til runoff, sometimes twice a day. She's ready for the big 3 gallon bucket now. I started my hempy experiment about three weeks behind my last plant and it's nearly caught up. I have 6 total ranging from three and a half feet at 5 weeks flower, to my hempy all on 12/12 now.
