Hermie issue: One tiny male pollen sack on an otherwise great looking female

Hey team long time reader of these forums and nailed a great first grow from info gained here, as such figured my second would be even better/easier however have had a small issue i am hoping for a little advice. Ok some basic history:

6 soil plants from unknown seed, (6 out of 8 seeds were girls). Unknown seeds are not great but unable to source decent seed due to location.
Mostly indica strain currently about 3.3 feet and not alot more upward growth
Currently in week nine (5 of which have been 12/12) under 600hps and budding nicely
Day temp 73 night 60, 100% lightproof, grow space = 6m2 plants take up 4m2

Issue:

All going great untill i found a tiny wee male pollen sack very low on one of the girls, much smaller than usual male flowers have seen when sexing, but very distinctively male and the payload has already been dropped, i check generally every 2-3 days for feeding. Checked thoroughly (and all other plants) for any more and gave a good misting although any damage (sex) is most likely already done as the buds are at that stage where they are covered in pistles.

Questions:

Can one tiny (like 2mm dia) pollen sack actually pollenate the rest, as in all other bud sites? or am i more likely to have some seeded bud and some good?

Should i rip her out asap or continue to check regulary and if any more appear then pull her, i.e. is it possible to have one random male pollen sack and no more?

Please bear in mind she does look great, if i had another contained area i could put her that would be ideal but sadly i dont.

Just to confirm any seeds from this scenario are useless and shouldn't waste my time with?

One other thing, last time i grew from these same seeds i ended up with four good females and a nice harvest, during which i found one random bud that had three seeds in it, good looking seeds too, no other buds had any.

Any advice would be awesome

yes it can and will ! your fan will pollinate the lot if your not careful .... pull it off before it releases and check her daily for anymore .... I'd check for any lightleaks also ... sometimes it's just in the genetics but often it's from some kinda stressor .... watch em close or its seedstock at harvest ......

Jeff is right, that tiny pollen sac can pollinate the rest of your crop! Be careful! If it looks like such a healthy female, I would say pluck the sack and keep growing her. Either that or trash the whole plant. But I think if she's 5 weeks into flowering then just pluck it and keep growing but make sure to check her everyday.

Thanks guys, i plucked the sack as soon as i spotted it but I could already see the pollen had been dropped as it had opened and a small amount of pollen residue was still in the the open shell. But yep keen to keep her and watch like a hawk.

Oh no! That's what you meant by
and the payload has already been dropped
!

No bueno. I would have tried to clean up with a wet wipe around where it fell. I hope your females end up okay!

if that pollen sack has opened and u have a fan running no matter how big the pollen sack is your plants are fucked LOL.but on the upside you now have 1000's of seeds.

i had a couple of sacks show up on bottom parts of one of my plants. this was about 3-4 weeks in. best plant in the batch, for sure, i wasn't gonna throw it out just like that. I decided to risk it - pulled like 10 or 20 sacks, and since then haven't seen any. no seeds either, i'm day 70 now looking to chop them in a week or ten days.

i did turn off my fan during these days.

so don't be a hermie killer, unless you grow commercial and cannot afford the risk of pollination. if your plant is good and you don't have many many plants, you will lose a lot more yield by throwing it away than you would if (big if) it pollinates the others.

Thanks folks, i like the idea of keeping it and just checking twice daily (lost my job yesterday so this is now much easier). Think its going to be a good learning experience to see the results of the other plants (really hope your wrong smallclosetgrowr hahah), if i do see a few more male flowers i'll pull it but if asaph had a similair one that turned out good im gonna chance it
