Hermie plants

I have 21 plants in flowering. 5 different strains. 6 twilights, 4 Cloud 9's, 1 O.G. Kush, 1 Sour Cream, and 9 G13 Haze. They are 33 days in but my twilights hermied about a week and a half ago. I caught it to late and you can see the seeds producing. My question is will seed production affect bud production? Size? Weight? If there is someone out there that this has happened to before or some experts out there please offer some input, cause I'm pretty sad and disappointed right now.:cry:

I had two harvests get ruined, back to back, after being pollinated by a hermie that I never found. Yes, it kills yield, lowers resin production, and generally....blows.lol I turned all 30 plants into bubble hash, after trying to smoke some, and getting that nasty seed taste, in all my buds.

Look into a product called Dutchmasters Reverse. It's for this type of situation, and if it isn't too late, might be of some help. I've never tried it, just heard good things about it, from guys who've used it.

It lowers yields and if happened as soon as in your case lowers potency.

Best thing to do right now is to remove all the hermies and spray the whole room THOROUGHLY with water to kill any stray pollen.
Trash the seeds as they'll carry hermie tendencies or use them to make oil if you got a press. (its a really really good addition to your diet)

How bad is it? that matters alot. have any pics? it might not be that big of a deal or it could be very bad. A few seeds a bud aint gonna hurt you too bad, it happens and in my experience it doesnt end up effecting it too bad. if youve got a ton forming though its a very different story. The other guys explained what would happen in that case well up above.

YES, it will.

I"m sorry to hear this is happening. Growing that many strains at one time from seed is bound for disaster, since hermaphrodism is a trait that's in ALL cannabis and your odds of getting one in a ten pack of beans is a real risk. A lot of strains won't hermmie until that last week or so, and when they do, its not as big of a deal.

When unexpected pollination occurs early on, it will totally ruin a crop by drastically reducing thc and resin gland (triches) production. It's really bad if you notice the pistils dying early from the bottom up, I don't mean from the bottom of the plant, I mean the pistils themselves will die inside the ovule and go outward...as opposed to the natural way, which is from the tip down. If you see this happening on a wide scale, chop it all down and count your losses. Next time, establish your mother plant one strain at a time.

Please stay tuned. I appreciate your feedback. I'm gonna try and post some pics in a couple of hours. But if what your saying is true my problem may not be that bad. I understand its already to late to fix but what your saying about the pistils dieing is not happening. Most of the seed production is on buds from lower branches and mostly on the hermie plant itself. It seems to me that the pollen didnt travel everywhere. Some of my plants dont even look like they have any seed and they were in the same room, go figure! I will post some pics so you can tell me what you think. Thanks!!!!!
