Hermie Seeds

Hello im new to growing and I have a few questions, I just tried to grow 2 plants veged for 9 weeks under a 400w light both turned out male big waste of time so pissed off.So my question is my mate had some seeds from a hermie plant and gave me a shit load if I were to plant these would they all turn out hermie or is there any chance of a female in there.Anyways im going to try I just started germ today.Im going to go 12/12 with only 1to2 weeks veg there are from 100% sativa strain(australia) growing indoors.I hade some smoke from these and the bud wasent bad just had crap loads of seeds in it. well it was bad but bud never the less.I cant get any fem seeds yet as i tried and customs got them oh well i tried.its because where im located other states get them but where im at no one gets them so thats why im asking if its possible ?? thanks and hope someone can advise

Most likely there would be a lot.of.herms. i wouldn't waste the time an effort. just my .02

If he gave you a shit load then my guess the plants they came from are full blown hermies.
And that being the case the genetics are crap and just about every seed would show the same hermie trait.
So basically you will end up with a bunch of seed filled bud.

IMHO they are junk and not worth growing.
You would be better off just popping some random bag seed if you have any around.
I think you would have a better chance to find something real nice with random bag seed.

FWIW, I had a blue cheese plant hermi on me. I grew several of those seeds to fruition and they were all female and none of them hermied. They were all drastically different from the original plant though. I think it might depend on if the plants hermied because of grower error vs any genetic predisposition. This is of course only a theory and I could be completely full of shit. Good luck with your seeds.

I have a 10-20 seeds that came from a hermie as well. Really good bud too from a dispensary. I ALSO have some seeds from a 707 headband plant that was in the same room as the hermie and got pollinated by it. I would think that these seeds would be feminized? Or at least not as likely to herm as the seeds from the hermie? I really hope so because it could end up being an amazing cross...if I remember right 707 Headband is clone only at the moment right?

Your right they could be fine if it was due to stress. And yes they will ALL be fem seeds.

The reason I always say don't grow hermie seeds in any post I make on this topic is a personal experience.
A buddy gave me some seeds from a cup winning strain that went hermie from what we figured was stress.
His AC unit went out with 90+ degree weather and took 10 days to get it replaced.
So I figured heat stress they should be fine, woohoo seeds that would cost $100 for 10 I have for FREE.
All was great had 6 beautiful females, well I did till around week 5.
Then boom balls several on every bud on all 6 plants.
And they kept comming the more I plucked the more grew, at least that's how it seamed.
But if that was not bad enough they not only pollinated themselves but the other 14 plants in the room as well.
I had seeds lots and lots of seeds.
And worst of all lots and lots of bud that was a shadow of what it should have been.
I grow to grow the best I can. I control and monitor everything in my grow rooms.
Im sure it was not stress in my case just bad genetics imho.
You could get lucky or you could get balls its a roll of the dice.

My suggestion is always start with the best you can, if that's what you got go for it.

Thanks everybody I have guy thats going to send me some fem seeds in a day or 2 if he gets them so i will be back on track soon fingers crossed. and will starte a journal up.
