How long does it usually take for the sacks to open? Or do you think its already too late to bother with picking them off?

Yea, just started my first DWC. I do hope that i can get something out of this tho, I've been trying to find a picture of a male pollen sack thats open so i can crush one or two of these things and find out if thats what its going to open up and become.

if you can keep up with picking them off then that will help. once they crack open they start to release pollen.

just pluck them off everyday and you will be fine. i have 3 hermies and no male pods have came back for 3 days. I am winning so far.

i got a really noob question..... can you still use the seeds that you get from a hermie..... or does it just produce more hermies ?

Update!

I decided that i would mark the male pods with paperclips and keep an eye on them, i found that the pods in fact opened up and let out lots of pistols.

Does kinda suck to think about all the clusters of them that i cut off
