A Danish curler was brought to tears after a boisterous Canadian crowd intentionally distracted her during crucial shots in her team's match against the home nation. With the crowd stomping and making deafening noise, Denmark skip Madeleine Dupont missed two potentially game-winning shots and tearfully blamed the fans for it afterward. Canada won the match 5-4 in an extra end.Such boorish fan behavior is normally considered unacceptable in the genteel world of curling.

Gloat all you want, we took gold from you on your soil in 02'. Canadian teams have always excelled after rough starts, we had one of the worst olympic starts in salt lake in hockey, 72 series etc. Preliminary games dont mean squat.

Gotta give props to miller though, hes incredible...

How about womens hockey though, canada going for the three peat about to shut out finland now. :bigjoint:

Such a rabble rouser, fdd. But hey, sticking it to Canada is just way too fun.

I was vacationing in Vancouver last April when the Canucks beat the Blues and have never heard such carrying on out of people, 2 hours straight honking and yelling. Ever since then I have sworn a blood oath to defeat Canada in all its evil forms.
