Hey, I'm Will, been a regular smoker for a good while but only recently I decided to undertake growing marijuana. Saves wasting money and I discovered how beautiful the process and plant really is.

My baby (yeah, only the 1) is doing well but was growing too big for the cabinet it's in, had to chop the top off and decided to quick dry it and try it anyway, it's half-way through flowering I believe but that stuff still got me high so I'm happy =D.

Yeah, once this one is harvested I've got two seedlings on the go ready to take it's place :)

Was wanting some advice though, I'm using normal CFL's to grow with, while the plant I have is looking quite adequate, it's still on the 'skinny' side if you know what I mean. So I was wondering if growing the next batch under 12/12 through veg and flowering (technically speaking there'd be no veg then, but still) would it be beneficial? I understand there'd be a severe height cut.

I definitely recommend an 18 /6 period for atleast a month. You want the plant to get them good long days of light. I would just keep it closer to the lights especialy if your using cfls you can get them bitches right up next to it with too much of an heat issue. Also You can try some homemade CO2 that also helps out the plants a lot for a little bit of money spent.

Yeah I think I'll take your advice :)

I've read about mixed results regarding growing from 12/12 all the way. I'd rather be on the safe side and let it get some good vegative growth before-hand, thanks :)
