Hey Everyone! I'm new here, and have just a few questions about my first grow..

Hello all! Just registered and am pretty impressed with this site and its members so far. I am currently in the midst of my first grow, and have just a few questions. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get. First of all, I must admit that I threw these seeds into the soil before really doing any research on light cycles growing season/conditions, etc. I planted them on October 20, which I have now come to learn is the complete back asswards time to plant. However, my plant is now 4 weeks old, and is actually looking pretty good. I am doing an outdoor grow on my balcony in Orlando, FL. I have also come to learn that in the vegetative state, a plant needs 16-24 hours of light to fully thrive. My balcony faces the west, so my plants are in shade until about 1pm, and then get sun for about 5 hours until 6pm every day. Obviously, this is no where near sufficient light to grow a huge monster of a plant, and I'm wondering if this plant will even yield any sort of successful results. My guess is that this means the plant will immediately go into the flowering stage before it is properly mature and produce little to no buds. Just today, I looked at the plant and noticed that it is now starting to show signs of lady parts, which is great news. However, this means it is about to flower right? I just ordered some indoor lights, which should be here on Wednesday, and I am hoping to move this operation indoors and begin proper photoperiods. My main question is, is it too late to put the plant under some lights on a 16-24 light cycle and keep it in vegetative growth? Or should I just accept that this plant could just be a lost cause? I do plan on taking some clones and doing it the right way, any thought on if it is ready to do so? Any thoughts/criticisms/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can reveg 18-24 with my experience. Couple flouros and cfls, for a lil personal batch and switch them to 12/12 when your ready to get em budding again. Those lights might not get you monsters, but, like i said if its a personal lil batch....go for it. All my girls get all the sun i can give them and then I bring em inside and keep em under lights all night(personal winter harvest), and then bring em outside in the full beautiful rays of sunshine. The sun saves me money and its Full Spec of course:). Go for it!
