so i used to live in Maine when i was a wee little boy with my family. i recently moved back here with my mother. i moved back here from Louisiana because my mum missed her family.

so i've grown indoors before and had a pretty good outcome. now i'd like to switch to outdoors because we have a whole lot more space here. (Louisiana is too crowded)

i've been doin' a lot of research on here about outdoor growing and i think i got all i need to know. i also have a friend here who does indoor growing with his father and he's going to hook me up with a clone of something they made themselves (BC X WhiteWidow), they call it Blue #1. i'll start her out to be my big momma.

the thing is, i don't know about the time when all this snow melts and it's a good time to lay down some plants in the ground. i know even when it starts getting warmer out in the spring a good bit of the ground is still frozen and is still too cold for the root systems. i'll probably be putting my own soil down if the ph levels are bad. i already know i need good southern exposure etc.

so if anybody could throw me some tips for outdoor growin' in Maine it'd be appreciated. ;)

i do live in maine have all my life. i haven't had a grow yet starting this spring but i have researched a ton on outdoor growing. If you know anything about corn it goes in about the same time as that, which is in may sometime. what part of maine do you live in?

i'm around the bangor region of penobscot county but thats the closest i'm gonna say. ;) a lot of my family does shit up north i found out (little ways past lee).

i don't really know much about how growing seasons go up here in maine, although i don't think i'd need to water as much as in louisiana due to maine being a little bit cooler.. don't really need to worry about moisture evap. when you're doing indoor growing. plan on putting down quite a few plants this year for a decent yield even if some die off (which i expect for my first try doing outdoor growing)

so you are a little farther north than i am. i'm in central maine area, kennebec county. maybe you could hook me up with some of your friends who are growing indoors so i can get some freshies. my family has a few hundred acres that i could grow on so i'm hoping to put in plenty of plants.
