Ok I was doin a little thinking and I would like to know if the grow tents are really worth buying or not say the small one for the heck of it are they worth it and how much can you get out of that? Yes I know that nuts and stuff plays a big part in the outcome aside from the obvious how much can be pulled if say I had sour diesel and purple kush...... let's say 2 of each and a master kush as well in soil with using earth juice nuts ?

I say they are worth it. they give you a controlled environment to modify temps, humidity and air flow in an easier manner.

And they come covered in mylar usually which is a plus. Just think of how many times you'll re-use it and you can see that it would be worth it.

If you're only going to grow once then it might not be worth it.

I personaly don't think they are worth it at all. But It all comes down to how much labor you want to put it. I bought some 2x4s, a zipper kit, 2 rolls of duct tap, (staples I had on hand, but Ill add them in to the cost as well) and some black plastic sheeting from my local grow store, total cost, 65 bucks, and I have two airtight, light tight tents, 4x4x7 and 3x4x7.

This allows for CHEAP environmental control, as well as cumstomizability. And when I decided to add vents, I didn't care about cutting a big 'ol whole in it because it was so cheap to build, just a little duct, duct tape and time and it was airtight again.

Then again, I have done everything DIY, and I take pride in saying that, but it was out of necessity, the funds are just not present yet.

But, if you want to go spend the dough, you will get an excellent product that will work great.

It comes down to what is worth more to you, your time and effort, or cash.

I don't think they are worth it. They magnify a heat problem, add nothing in terms of stealth, and what they add in reflectivity is insignificant.

Thank you for the pointers it sounds like its best if you build it yourself rather then being out on $130 cause they run about $200 so just take $70 out of that and make my own this will be noted Ty again guys.

well whats your idea of small? go to a uhaul rental place and get a wardrobe box, i hear they work really well. i have a box from a shower unit. from a construction gig. works better than good. in my journal i believe, if you care to look.

Panda Paper and PVC are cheap.I build my own.

Now that is creativity I like that but need a little bigger when I do this but thanks for the idea ill keep this in mind for a bigger box
