Hey guys,i really need expert advice here ,please help.

So hi, i am doing my first grow and am 4 weeks into flowering bagseed ,of what seems to be a sativa/indica cross.It's about 5 feet tall,very long and thin leaves at the top going to more thick leaves towards the bottom.

Well,the veg period went great ,i am using potting compost i bought at homebase with added john inns.whichi assumed to be a fert so i left the plant unfed the entire 4 weeks i vegged .I wasn't expecting the stretch from 12 inches to more than 50 in a few weeks ,i started adding a light feed as soon as i switched.

Now the problem.

The last few week the plant has been ailing quite badly.The fan leaves have been yellowing at the edges then crisping and i've been picking them off left right and centre ,it looks a mess now.I knew i had either overfed or the water wasn't ok.So i went and got a ph meter and ec meter.

All i know is the results are bad ,but i don't know what to do from here.

Here is what is happening

PH of my tap water is 7.3
PH of the water when ive added some feed is 6.5
EC of water before ive added anything is 0.38 Sm
EC after added feed is 0.60 Sm

PH of water after it has drained through the pot is 5.0
EC of water after it has went throug the pot is 2.20 Sm

PLease assist me ,i know there is some very smart guys out there lol

Flush with PH'd water only until what you drain out of the bottom gets down to about EC 1.2 or lower, your at 2.2 now which is to much, the soil has become oversaturated with salt based fertilizer as well. Your PH coming out of the soil is to low at 5.0, that needs to be around 6.0 to 6.5 for soil.

Once you get the soil back to the right levels, proceed with a feed, water, water schedule starting at about EC level .8 and work your way up to EC 1.2, keep the soil PH between 6.0 and 6.5

I honestly think over nuting is the biggest problem people face, and has the potential to do more harm than good. Remember, it's a WEED, and grows just about anywhere. If you start with quality potting soil and maybe, MAYBE a bit of bat guano mixed in, that and the right watering schedule will give you great results. IMO when your grow plan starts to resemble a math textbook you're over thinking things. Of course some people live and die by nutes so good luck whatever you do!

Based on your numbers you are overfeeding (or a salt/mineral buildup is occuring).
Also, the fluctuation of the pH can have severe consequences, pH fluctuation can look a bit like nute burn.

Flush with pH'ed water, let your environment bounce back and start over with less nutes and keep a firm eye on the EC and the pH.

Yea bro listen to DANKEN thats all you eally need especially during veg. Thats exactly what I use a little guano and they eat it rightup plus its hard to burn plants with organic guano and it makes your weed so flavorful good luck the SIZZ
