Just figured I would start a newbie grow thread on here.. been lurking and gaining info for a while anyhow.
What I have going at the moment is essentially a "bag seed" thread more or less. All the current plants were started from seeds found while trimming another persons crop.
At the moment in the veg cabinet I have going there are eight plants that were put into soil about a week or so apart started from seeds. All were started in paper towels/bags around 11/1. The plants are under standard shop type lights. Currently they are in 2 gal pots with Fox Farm Happy Frog.
My first big learning experience was just how fast the lil ladies can become root bound!! Had them in keg cups for a while too long and had started to get light spotting on a couple plants with a bit of leaf turning. Was thinking at first was possibly cal/mag but when ahead and did the transplant to see what was what. Think at this point all is well again.
Sooo we have four girls (hopefully) about the same size in the small group and four in the larger group.
Roughly all the larger plants are this size... one is a bit larger:
So... I was thinking of starting with 1/4 veg nutes on this water for the larger plants, not the smaller ladies yet though. Your thoughts??? Also..I was wanting to stick with the Fox Farm line..... I have seen two different veg nutes they offer... is one better???
