I am just moving into a new apartment and would like to start to grow on my own. I have no experience in growing. I have a closet in the new place that is about 4feet wide and 6ft tall. I am looking to grow enough to get about 3-5 oz out of it, and maybe more if it is fairly easy to do. I have looked at a few websites and have gathered some idea of the process but I am a little fuzzy on the process. I have found seeds that can be shipped to my PO box that seem to be of the white widow like variety, they run about 40 bucks. I guess the next step would be to buy 3-5 gallon buckets and get potting soil from walmart or like store. Then I'll should get a small moving fan, and perhaps a lighting system that is adjustable. As far as fertilizer, it seems like I would need nothing much more than a high N content to start is up strong then nothing all that agressive just to mantain. I am guessing the whole process after germination will take about 4-5 months. Is there much else that I need to know or forgot, its been some time since I had a agriculture class! I would love and welcome any and all help...

Welcome. What kind of a budget you looking at? Also 4 3gal buckets would fit, should be used as life pots and you can run 4 plants. Make sure the closet seals and you have a carbon filter, cheap weather stripping works for a seal.

I am would love to only put 300ish into the project, is it better to build a box around the project to make it less noticable? should i buy reg. or femdom seeds?

Get fem seeds, nothin worse then cuttin down a male you put so much time into :).

what where u thinking on running for lights give me some more info and i will help u through this

Cfl lights are built to go into normal sockets. But that's too high. For cfl lights you want them 1-3 inches above the plants with a y adapter sense cfl lughts give best light from sides.

ok I think i have gathered enough info for know im going to get the process started ill check back in a few weeks thanks to everyone for all the help and happy 420 in a few days!!
