Just decided I would join this community to use it as a resource for my first grow. I have read quite a bit on growing and look forward to starting my new grow within the next two weeks as I am still waiting on a couple supplies.

I have some white widow seeds in the mail also will have a few clones from a friends big bud that I might try out.. Plan on flowering in a 4x4x6 mylar grow tent.. Not sure if I will go 600 or 1000 hps or not and still undecided what I am going to do for the veg room, any suggestions?

My total budget is around $1000 and so far I have spent $250 on seeds/mylar tent.

get 2 600 watts for your tent and use the tent for veg and flower ,whos white widow is it what breeder..

Got them from www.nirvana-shop.com ..I really want fast turn around on my buds, would like to have 5 crops of 5-10 plants a year, or do you think I should go for 15-20 small plants given my grow tent?

What i was thinking was building a smaller growbox for my veg room that can hold maybe a couple mothers and up to 10 clones, only problem is I do not want to have to buy another light/carbon filter.

I am fine with buying 2x 600 watt hps/mh combo lights as I can prob get them for around $650 shipped but when it comes time to flower I want as much light being used for flowering as possible, is there a cheap alternative that I can keep in the veg room?
