I've enjoyed a smoke every so often over the years but the current quality and price of weed in the arse end of Northern Ireland I live in has forced me into action.
The last batch I bought was £15 for 1g. When I tried rolling I couldn't get it to break up very well and after reading round online I found this forum and reckon the grass has been sold wet.
I currently grow about half my own vegetables. I've no room for any more. The neighbouring farmer will sell a bit of land to me though so the current plan is to grow some quality gear to sell on. This will hopefully get the money together to buy the bit of land so I can move towards self-sufficiency. Depending on how good I do I may put a bit towards what little of the mortgage I've got left to pay.
I'm out in the middle of nowhere and have an old garden shed out the back I'm going to convert for the process. No neighbours and very little passing traffic so I think I'm fine for growing.
I've read round on what to grow and like the sound of Kali Mist. Sounds like the type of high I want. Doesn't seem like the most commercial strain though. I suppose if it's what I want to smoke, I can take the little I need and sell the rest, a win-win situation. The other thing is if it is as good as people make out I could maybe charge a bit of a premium for it. I'm not looking to deal, just one man, one meet and flog it all in one go. After the first grow I can see what yields I'm getting and work out how much space to give over to it. Don't want to be in it long term or for the bling bling that some seem to be in it for, just get what I need then downscale to producing just for personal use.
I suppose my first question is could anyone recommend a strain other than Kali Mist that might be more suited to commercial growing?
