I assume you mean busted by your parents... If this is the case, then they are already on to you, and they will not forget that you have tried in the past. Thus any form of privacy you may want it already suspect, anything you try to conceal is also suspect. I would stop trying to grow drugs in my parents house and simply wait until I am independent and living on my own. There is also this to consider: what happens if your house gets raided by pigs? How will your parents feel then? Point is do not jeopardize other people with your illegal endeavors. Move out, get your own place, then try growing. This is the best advise I would give to a young person who is considering growing in his parents house. Closet growing in by no means "covert" unless you live alone... If you really want to be covert, consider using a computer case. Keep what i mentioned previously in mind before you try and dupe the parents again.

yeah figured as much as that i had them growing on the window sill for two months didn't get caught until I moved them into the closet as for the moving out i would love to but i live in michigan with no money no way to get anywhere so no way to have a job even if i could get one in this economy so no hope either

if yur parents arent cool with you growing at there house it will only cause problems for u and your grow.....luckily when i was a youth momz had a open mind,also knew i grew the herb for religous purposes so....reason with parents and get legal,,,or wait till you get ure own spot,,,never too early to start saving for future indevors

The main thing here is that you're in your parents' home and if they don't want you growing pot - then don't do it.

Not only is it supremely disrespectful, after all they are giving you a place to live (rent free), but you're putting THEIR assets in jeopardy. You do realize that if you're busted FOR REAL, by the cops, then your parents' house can be seized and auctioned off?

You wouldn't have to worry about a place to live, because you'd be in prison, but your parents would be out on the street and out hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Everyone starts somewhere man, I went from making 200-300 bucks a day as a painter to stocking groceries at Walmart. I'll bounce back and have real cash flow again some day... In the meantime I scrape by and try to put money back. The economy does suck now, and people have not been investing as much money into their houses as they did before. try getting a job at your local grocery store if you can't find something else. Remember the PC case idea; there are threads on this forum that explain how its done.

The PC case grow is the safest bet you have. But if you're living with your folks and they're not cool with it, you should respect their wishes.
My suggestion would be to get any sort of job, even if it means hitting McDonald's or any of that crap, save money, and move out. Parents
know everything, it's impossible to hide things from them as they maybe know you better than even you do.

no disrespect to the higher ups here, but its not like hes got a few kw's of light goin, hes probably growin just a few. theres no way the fuzz is gonna bust in mom n dads door for that. but as for suggestions, id say take it outdoors. trust me, if your rents dont like the idea of you growing, theyre not going to like it when they find your babies one more time in their house. sides, youll probably end up with a bigger yeild as well

You'd think they have better things to do with their time, right? Unfortunately that isn't always the case. Every day I read about small time growers being busted, so it DOES happen more often than you think. Yes, it's unlikely as long as he keeps his mouth shut, but telling him there's "no way" he's going to get busted is just wishful thinking. There's always a way to get busted.

Okay, this is false. Even if your parents have NO IDEA that you're growing/selling drugs in their home, if you're caught they absolutely can lose their home. It doesn't matter if they are involved or even have knowledge of what's going on. If it's happening in their house, then it CAN be seized.
