High humidity bad for lights?

Most decent ballast and lights are built to be IP67 and 68 compliant. They usually have to be to be classified as a grow light.
Just looked up what those ratings mean.. thank you for the reassurance that my light should be ok.

and this is a weed website...you can just take it for given that someone has forgotten to do pretty much everything you can think of
Simple way to put it.
You have a shower, bathroom full of steam and vapour, does your bathroom light still work even if it's just a lampholder with a bulb and nothing else?
Thanks guys.. just a noob overthinking things. Appreciate you puttin it into perspective for me. I’ve had a lot of trial and ERROR as I’m sure everyone here has. I finally have some nice girls going and just flipped to flower then I pull this shit. Was just thinking when it rains it pours. Ha.. anyway thanks again

hid lights have been used for many years as outdoor lighting. Parking lots, security, alleys, farms, etc. I had one in my yard for 9 years before it went out. It rains all the time here, if that constitutes high humidity
