HLG-185H-C1400B dimming by 1-10V or PWM

Anyone dimming their HLG drivers electronically here, with an arduino or something similar?

I spent a few hours yesterday trying to dim my lights by applying a varying 1-10 V signal to the dimming circuit but I couldn't get the damn things to dim.

Verified that the right voltage was being applied to the dimming wires with different multimeters but still no dice.

Wondering if I'm missing something?

maybe you hooked it up backwards.

Read the " meanwell 3 in 1 dimming" thread by stardustsailor it addresses the proper way to apply a voltage to the dimming leads around page 5 or 7.

Thanks for pointing that out. Going to give it another shot now. Already got my relays working from my phone, once I get the dimming down I'll be cruising.

good to hear.you should explain what you had to do to make it work seeing as you started a thread on it.people will search arduino dimming and get directed here looking for answers.
