hello
I have been building a new grow room and would like some information on what lights to run.
This is my dream room that I've been working on for quite some time. I have previously grown in tiny 4f by 8f with just enough room to squeeze my body in.
Its brand new framed room with new drywall and R3 insulated walls and ceiling with a concrete floor.
Sealed room with co2 tanks, 1 ton mitshubishi split system
My room is roughly 3m by 5.5m (10 foot by 18foot) ceiling height is 2.2m (7.2 foot)
The flower space is 1.2m by 3.6m (4foot by 12foot) flood trays running bottem feed rockwool
I have a small walkway down each side (3foot either side) of the flood trays to provide access to the plants
I know i am losing space and what not, but for the sake of my back i really want a grow room with access.
The rest of the room is going to be filled with a small mother tent and clone tent / dehumidifer/ co2 tanks so on
I have a solar system that produces roughly 5500 watt/h during peak sunlight hours, roughly 50kwh a day, less for winter.
So i was planing on running during the day and take advantage of the power im producing.
The room is downstairs and usally is much cooler then the rest of the house during summer.
So im interested in going led and have done a little reshearch and are leaning towards
3x HLG 600H
growerslights/products/horticulture-lighting-group-600h-quantum-board-led-kit
or
3x Redwood sam
timbergrowlights/redwoodqb/
can't post links yet
the redwood has more 1728 dioads but produces less PPF: 1473 μmol/s
the 600h produces 1540 PPF Total Output! with less 1152 Highest Bin Samsung LM301B LED'
open to other led options aswell as comments on these.
As ive never worked with led befor. Will these lights produce enough heat to keep me in VPD range for a sealed co2 grow.
Also do you think running bottled co2 will be effective in this size room.
