Honestly I need opinions. I am an electrician but apprentice still. I did all my wiring in daisy chain. ( what is used to when I hang lights in buildings) I was reading that I was supposed to wire in series. Should I switch it to series or I’ll be fine w the daisy chain function

you should definetely wire in series with that driver. its a constant current driver.

if you wire in parallel all the boards are splitting the 2.1A rather than each getting 2.1A if they are in series.

if u want to wire in parallel you could get the hlg-240h-24a driver

I will be re wiring Tom morning. I’ll upload pics. Also will be moving driver from inside my tent to the outside of tent on top on a 2x4

Sorry for the shitty pics was rushing out the house wanted to get some pics tho. Wired in series and got everything set up. Left light without the adjustable hanger because it’s just gonna be a mission to drop and higher w my fans in the way with the wire zip ties to poles for organization. Light is at 40” from canopy. How do I measure or tell if the light is to dim or what not. Lastly a picture of the ladies. They seem to be doing good. One plant started getting yellow tips on like 3 leaves so I just stated my veg since I figured it needed nitrogen which is in my grow big I think it’s called from fox farm. LMK!

40" is too far away, even at 200 watts.
You really need to dim it down to min around 80 watts and place it 15" or so away from plants and see how they do.
Go easy on feeding too. They look quite small in those pots so there'll be nutes in soil for them to bite into.
Also, water around the outside of the pots too, not just around the centre round the plant, it'll encourage the roots to spread.
And let the pots dry out between waterings.

Alright, I’ll try to set that up lower then. The watering, I watered yesterday and I did water would the edges and cause a 20-30% runoff (idk if I have to but I did it lol) and it’s just drying up I guess. And yeah I figured I should go low dosage. So I went w the seedling dosage from the back of the fox farm bottle. The yellow doesn’t seem to be making progress. What else can I do

It’s about 20 inches and dimmed to the lowest. I didn’t check but I’m sure it’s s little higher than 80 something.

Are you “ pulling “ air out ( exhaust ) or just throwing fans inside to circulate ?
Pic looks like a PASSIVE TOP VENT .

Heat issues can be from “ trapped “ air within tent.

Do you run open tent door ? Or zipped closed ?

At higher load those boards will radiate some heat like a hot plate ( be aware these are MID POWER leds ) and perform “ better “ at nominal power. 18” is a good normal canopy height. Plants will be fine at that height.

I run tents with good negative pressure with a PASSIVE inlet and inline fan exhaust ( 8” )
Temps stabilize to ambient room temp with this setup and I can bump power anytime without worry.

This is also running cobs at same time ....

Today I ran the tent open cause it went to 86. But usually I have it closed and I have 2 oscillating fans. I have a carbon filter inline fan. I am using it as in an exhaust as when for when the smell starts I can’t have it outside my place so trying to keep it contained
