I have Four (4) 132 v2’s mounted on a frame powered by an HLG-320H-C2800A in series.
I dialed the output back a little and I’m running 136 volts across the +\- outputs.
At the wall my clamp meter says I’m pulling 2.1 AC amps. I dialed my output back until it hit 2.1 amps. Full on it was hitting 2.4 AC Amps max.
HLG says the max draw on these boards are 2100ma and 36v on their website......however on the board it’s printed 2000ma.
Questions -
which spec is right ? I assume what’s printed on the board.....but I’d like expert opinions.
What’s the best way to insure I don’t drive too much current ? I don’t think my test meter will measure DC current. It’s an Ideal brand clamp meter designed for mostly AC voltages. If needed I’ll go buy one....
Any help will be appreciated.
