Hmmm Illinois SB 2865 what is going on with this??

I have been monitoring the status of this senate bill and I thought it was supposed to receive a vote on jan 13th of this year but I dont see any changes in the bill status. Can anyone help make sense of this bill? and when will it be officially voted on?

Looks like the you need to get ahold of the chairperson and find out what is going on.It says it was sent back to the rules chairperson for some reason.
Missouri has had a bill that keeps getting put off for two years now.With the change in leadership i hope they can get off their asses and do something.OPH

Yeah Im hoping after Michigan the rest of the midwest will catch on, I know Ohio is waiting to pass a bill.. Unfortionately West Virginia where there is a huge population of outdoor growers it still remains to have some of the stiffist penalties in the country.. Hope they jump on the bandwagon soon or at least decriminalize some.

I see John Cullerton took office today as senate president however how does this really affect the bill?

Is "Sine Die" a good or bad thing? It stated as of 1/13/09 that the current status is "Sine Die" what does this mean exactly?
