hollow holes in stalk and stems noticed at harvest

I just harvested 2 small plants and noticed that the stalk and stems have holes through them. Skywalker og and ak48. I noticed the plants health declining a while back like leaves yellowing and getting brown spots and being burned easily and nursed them for various things but never figured out the problem. Then at harvest (small yeild) I saw the holes. Any ideas what this is? The reason I care about dead plant is because I cut clones off of them and wonder if they have whatever those ones had!

I had the same problem with my last harvest. I was growing Nirvana Special (Sativa dominant strain) and noticed a sharp decline in plant health at about week 9 of flowering. The stems turned soft and woody, so I harvested them a couple weeks early. When I cut the main stems and branches, I was quite surprised to find they were hollow in the center. Can anyone explain?

The stem being hollow, is normal, it happens to mine, quite a bit. But, the holes are not. Look up "stem borer" and you'll find pests that do this.

I just harvested a healthy plant a few weeks ago and the main stem was hollow. Normal maybe?
Yes it is normal not only for your girls to have a hollow center it is normal for many plants especially fast growing varieties. It has to do with air pressure and the ability to move watre up and down the stem. This is just a over simplified explanation but should suffice to say it is completely normal.
