I have used the home made co2 bottle before with yeast and vinegar not sure if it worked i'm doing the bottle with sugar ,water and yeast now for my seeds whats everyones input on these ? do they work or is it just a waste of time and room .. I see a few bubbles every 3-4 seconds but does it really do any good ? my seed/clone room is 2.5 foot by say 4 foot ...not looking to buy a tank [I have one in basement I haven't used in 20 years ] or packs just wondering on thoughts about the home made jugs and if they are worth it

I doubt you will notice any difference.
Your room needs to be completely sealed so the co2 stays in there. You also need optimal heat and enviroment conditions for the plants to properly intake the extra co2.

You need GOBS of Co2. That's why people go through entire 2ft tall tanks ever 3 days in an 8X10 room. Lol

Bro mix that yeast and sugar in a 2 litter bottle with a hole on the cap so it can build pressure when you shake it.
put that next to your plant or in the middle of your grow, you’ll see a huge difference.

Just don't buy one of those stupid buckets. I feel like such an idiot for buying one of those years ago.

It's a waste of time. If you're going to use Co2 you need to do it right. Those bags, bottles of yeast, etc... don't do anything.

Plants need cO2
Of course plants need Co2. Atmospheric Co2 levels are at an all time high measured at 413 ppm's in January. That is just the outdoor level. That number rises in indoor spaces so there is already adequate Co2 for the process of photosynthesis to occur. Those bags, bottles of yeast, etc... won't have any discernible effect on plant growth. Co2 can increase yield if done properly with the right equipment. Putting a 2 liter bottle of water, yeast, and sugar next to your plant is not going to do anything. You need a sealed room and you want to disperse it from above as Co2 is heavier than air and will fall towards the ground when released. To get the levels of Co2 that are needed to have any effect you need a Co2 generator that burns propane or natural gas or a tank based system. Those bags and DIY methods using a bottle and yeast are pointless.

you must grow so much to where you need that bs you speak of. Small sealed closet with cO2 works fine

The ambient in my basement is between 500 and 550 ppm. I have a gas fired dryer down there, although it vents outdoors. I also have an oil furnace down there, but hopefully that isn't gassing into the basement, and it probably produces more CO than co2. :(

Yeast bottles won't help for more than a day. I used to brew beer, and it would belch co2 like a sorority chick after a taco eating contest. But only for a day or so, then it would be almost nothing. You go from toxic levels to nothing in 48 hours, and that is with a 7 gallon batch.

Get a bottle and a controller if you really want to use it. A small tent will sip co2.
