Ok so im making this bubble cloner bc a friend of mine had made one and had told me he has 100% rate if not close to that with this setup. very easy to make he says, so i went to walmart go me a small sterlite like 15qt container and lid im going to spray paint them black. 2x 8in airstones, connect to a dual port pump. i super glued the airstones to bottom of container. i dont know if i should go get vinyl hosing or just use fish tank hose??? as my friend did not explain all the steps and or everything he bought so i took it upon myself to get some advice from yall ,to steer me in the right direction and to aid my questions.

do i put ne nutes in water?

how big of holes do i drill if im putting 2" neoprene inserts in to fit snug with no light showing through??

has ne one used this to get clones and if you do what are some key things to help with this type of setup?

This whole setup will be configured inside a 18 gallon container with a t5 48watt sunblaze attached to the lid, for lighting. and this will sit on top of the grow box so it will get heat when it is on....will this do ok please post advice and opinions they go along way in my book.....

No nutes, although you can add a drop per gallon of superthrive and a 1/4 strength B1 solution,...

You want the neoprene slugs to be tight so just a tiny bit less of a hole than 2 inches.

Dont understand why the whole thing is going to sit inside of a additional tub, but hey.

And do you have more than just 1 t5?

i have to have it stealthd. thats why its in another container. i dont have ne more t5 that frickn sunblazed cost me 120 bucks what a waste of money i could of bought a frickn mh 25o watt for that. ne ways so drill them with like 1 3/4. ? oh and what kind of drill bit do i need to cut through the top to put neoprenes in? where do i get superthrive and what is it?

You could do what i do and just drill the biggest hole you can and then pen knife out the right size hole...

Superthrive is something you would need to google, I can even explain the stuff...

OH and you absolutely will need rooting gel...

are they cheap?/ and dude that superthrive shit isnt that expensive and looks like it works wonders for new growers and should be used for experienced growers as well. thanks for the bump kudos!

if your just wanting to put holes in plastic just get the bit size one smaller than 2 inches.

Or just Pen knife the holes out.

Its really not that complicated....

If you are going to use 2" netpots or plugs, you'll need a one and seven eighth inch (1-7/8") hole saw.

When you go to WalMart, just buy the clear aquarium hose and hook that up to your pump and airstones. You can drill two small holes in the side of your tub near the very top to put the air lines through. Cut the clear air lines to the length you need.

No nutes.

Your solution should be just about 1/4" from the bottoms of the netpots or plugs. The bubbles breaking on the surface from the airstones will be just enough to keep the bottoms of the pots/plugs wet and that will attract the roots. If you submerge your netpots or plugs you'll get root rot.

I use this system myself and consistently get a 100% success rate.

Good luck ...
