Homemade LP aero grow. Help please.

Sup everybody, this is my version of a low pressure "aero" system. I modeled it after an aquaponic system I saw in the garden store. I have a small water pump putting out nutrients through 9 nozzles in the root chamber plus a drip stake in the hydroton. I have a bell siphon recyling the soup back into the reservoir which has two air stones. I just transplanted the rockwool cube as the cotyledon sprouted today.

What problems might I run into leaving the reservoir uncovered?
What would be a proper timer schedule for the water pump?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks for looking:leaf:

Well you might have a humidity issue from all the water evaporating...stuff, dust and debris falling in might also be a downside, light hitting the water might create algae eventually...those are a few things that come to mind. I see you are using CFLs so you might be ok, I guess if you were using HIDs that open res would be more of an issue.

Your system looks nice and tidy, keep up us posted and let us know how it works out for ya.

Peace
