First, you need sterile spores. Try ralphstersspores, i have had good luck from them. Understand that every process in the cultivation of mushrooms is very sterile, up until the point where your cakes are put with your vermiculite, because at this point they are able to withstand contaminates that would other wise ruin you flushes. Ok, now on to the "ingredients"
1) Organic Brown rice flour-it must say organically made or something to that nature. The reason is so that it does not contain any chmeicals that could hinder your future fungi
2)Vermiculite- Dont worry what for just yet, just go to walmart or lowes, and grab a bag.
3)Canning jars-personally i like the kerr jars, the seals tend to last longer and they are convenintly found everywhere. Either 1/2 or 1 pint jars will work, jsut make sure they're open mouth jars. If not...well you will see why if you don't.
4)RUbbermaid containers- Found at walmart, get some decent size ones, about the size of two shoeboxes.
Those are the basics, everything else is items you will have around your house, if not they are very easily accessible.
Also, you need patience, and alot of cleaning will be involved in the first few stages.
