Horse crap

Hey guys, I've committed myself to going all organic. To be honest the more research i do on this subject he more i feel like a complete noob. I have come up with the idea of using horse manure as a main additive to my soil mix. It is readily available and free. Most of the recipes I find call for using the native soil or clay for part of the mix. My native soil resembles 3/4 minus so that's not going to work. I can get peat moss about 30 miles down the road for 30 bucks a truckload though. Also I really like the idea of not feeding my plants for their entire lives if possible. Just ph water would be awesome. Is that really doable though, I mean will they always have everything they need even during flowering? I know I have to compost the manure. Also I will be growing in a greenhouse in 30 gallon pots.If you have a link to a good recipe using horse manure and peat moss as the bulk of the material or if you know it off hand that would be greatly appreciated. Any information on this subject would be appreciated. I'm sure something like this has been discussed before I just can't find it. Sorry if this is redundant.

I don't recommend making your own soils or mixes other than teas, man it can be a lot of work and growing cannabis at the same time is a hard life, rather I looked into it, made several great horse shit tea's for years, but eventually just like all the other hippies in my town,I bought loads from an old hippie in the back woods thats been doing it for years ...he saved me years of study and money ...look to the old hippies in your woods ....lol

Bone meal, bat guano and worm castings should help you. If using manure be sure it's well composted.

Horse hockey is good shit. Just make sure it is WELL composted (min of 6 to 8 mo, IMHO). Many folks say even longer, and I wouldn't argue against it. The longer the better.
If your native soil has good structure, then by all means go with it. Add the composted road apples, some kelp meal (my preference) and EWC.
