Horti Control Dust Shroom?

Hey guys, I've got two of these overpriced suckers and am trying to install them into my intake for my flower room... running into a bit of trouble with the installation and am wondering if there are any easy solutions to it.

My problem is that the dust shroom is slipping off my tapered 6" duct coupling... pretty frustrating as I just installed the duct coupling and caulked it up nicely. I'm not sure if it's just the grease on the filter or if it's the tapered duct coupling. Anyone got any bright ideas that have used this product before?

Have you tried putting a duct clamp on it?
The filters are a little tricky, I found that if you permanently attach a common size fitting to the dust shroom and make that piece the primary connection to your ducting or wall...it's easier to work with.

Yeah, I tried the duct clamp the problem was it was a tapered duct coupling so it would just slide off it due to the lack of any friction to hold it in place and the tapered end... went to Lowes and picked up a 6" BLACK!! pipe stove that was 12" long so that kinda stinks but one end of it was a perfect 6" around and not tapered so that did it! Installing a second one today, two 600's are too hot for only one intake! Hope it solves my temperature problems...
