Hortilux super blue

Just wanted to give you guys the business on the Hort Super Blues. At nearly 3 times the price of the regular Hortilux MH, the super blues are definetly worth it. I ran a side by side with the regular Hort MH bulb and holy shit there really is a difference. All I can say is if you have the extra money to spend please do yourself a favor and buy the Super Blue. ESPECIALLY if you have long veg periods. The plant grew much faster, much larger, much stockier with much shorter internodal spacing.

I run them too....3 of them. They are the best lamp on the market, period. Unreal growth. Combine those with House and Garden nutes, and watch out! Enormous solid colas. I do use regular MH for the veg period of 2-3 weeks. The only trick to these is I start 12/12 at 18-20 inches. The mixed spectrum in the lamps encourages more upward growth than regular HPS.

I am going to try an experiment next turn. I'm going to try using them for the first 8 weeks of flower, and than a straight HPS for the last 2. I will post the results when they're done. I'm just about done with my current, which I'll post pics of too.
