Hot Pink 'n Purple hairs oh my :D

I got this purple kush clone from a grower i traded sum strains with and he never flowered it either. I been reading about this strain and nowhere can i find they should have pink n purple hairs.
Its a shame theyll dry out to a normal red hair but during bloom its pretty to look at.
Is this normal in your opinion? PK strain outdoor grown in oregon. Gh nutes. Soil

Speaking of colorful plants... I just started flowering that infamous Rainbow strain that has those photoshopped looking fruity pebbles buds. I got it from wild west growers farms here in oregon so i kno its leget i just not positive they are distributing that oh so colorful phenoetype that everyone wishes for.
I guess i will kno in about 5-7wks

Digging that pk. I had a.pheno of a strain called diamond og that threw pink hairs the same shade. But it was just a throwaway as far as structure and bud development so I just tossed it outside in its pot and didn't do much. Dried out to be orange hairs.

That pk looks like its doing well though. Ive heard of some strains doing that when they have certain lockouts/deficiencies. I wonder if the hairs would turn orange still if it was.fresh frozen and dried extremely slowly.

Here are some updated pictures as of today. I think im like week 5 flower, maybe approaching 6 fast so i'll start flush soon maybe week from now . The other two are behind the purple kush by around 10-15 days .




Any guesses on yield end result??

This purple kush is such an awesome phenoe of this strain. i got so lucky finding this one. I will never let it go either. Mainly for its terp profile. Its the exact intense ideal purple grape candy aroma I love so much. I will keep this cut forever if I can. Out of the 15-20+ purples Ive grown this is by far the best in every way. Yield is amazing for a purple

As for the Lemon Alien Dawg and Rainbow Kush plants, im not sure what to think yet. I hope they will show more character soon. This is that super colorful rainbow kush too which i assume kicks in around ripening stage like say wk6-8 flower

I most definately do not have purpling from deficiency. I have grown so many intense pure purple strains and played with others and temps, nutes etc and for most part its all hogwash. If u really F up a plant so bad you cause ALL of its white pistils to turn hot pink you would see other negative effects complimenting it. A truly healthy purple strain is a very beautiful thing. Many of them all have the traditional purple afghani grape candy like terp profile too. But some dont at all like Sativa heavy Chitral kush SweetSeeds company uses to make black cream, dark devil, red poison & the like.
Pineapple terp plants excite me too. When you get that phenoe of pineapple kush that literaly smells like fresh cut pineapple in its raw form; making sum intense tropical flavored live resin dabs that will make ur cheeks pucker. To this day the best tasting bho ive tasted was pineapplekush live. Made from fresh buds only 12 hrs frozen, blast and then try sum dabs right after its done purging while its at its most fresh state. bAaam!
